ABOUT US
On March 4, 1902, the first patrons of what we now call the Fulton County Public Library System entered the Carnegie Library, located on the same ground as today's Central Library. The origins of the library system, however, late in the nineteenth century, with the efforts of members of the Young Men's Library Association to raise money for a free public library in Atlanta.
