Masai Lawson is responsible for talent acquisition, specializing in executive search, candidate relationship management, and recruitment thought leadership. She also serves as chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) steering committee.

Lawson spearheaded the creation and implementation of a comprehensive recruitment strategy, aligning recruitment processes with organizational goals to foster growth. With a focus on candidate engagement, she recruits top talent and advances an employee-centric culture.

After initiating our firm’s inaugural DE&I steering committee, Lawson has taken the lead in developing the framework for, promoting, and supporting Gannett Fleming’s vision and strategy to become a more inclusive firm while promoting DE&I across the infrastructure industry. She has brought the commitment to creating a workplace of belonging to the forefront and integrated equity-related goals within the corporate strategic planning process.

With 25 years of experience, Lawson joined Gannett Fleming after serving as a talent acquisition consultant for Fortune 1000 companies like Pfizer, Microsoft, Astra Zeneca, and Bank of America. A sought-after thought leader, Lawson often shares her talent acquisition and DE&I expertise at industry conferences, podcasts, and events, and was recognized as a 2023 Woman of Excellence by the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg.
