In the News: Rawashdeh and FM 1409 Roadway Extension Project Receive ASHE Houston Honors

The American Society of Highway Engineers’ (ASHE) national publication, Scanner, recently featured Houston-based Gannett Fleming team members and recognized two recent awards.
The ASHE Houston Section honored Senior Highway Designer Farrah Rawashdeh, EIT, ENV SP, with the 2023 Young Engineer of the Year Award. Additionally, the 2023 Project of the Year Award Under $20 Million went to Chambers County’s FM 1409 Roadway Extension Project, where Gannett Fleming served as the engineer.
Blair Stocker, PE, ASHE Houston Section past president, and Youssaira Belmokadem, PE, the gala committee chair, were also acknowledged in the article.
